The FRIENDS OF CHOPIN AUSTRALIA is a national not for profit association located in Canberra, Australia dedicated to exploring and promoting the composer Fryderyk Chopin, his music, and its role in Australia's musical life.
The Friends of Chopin Australia conduct research into Chopin in Australia, promote young Australian artists, promote Chopin and Chopin related activities in Australia, and partner with the Australian National University and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland to Australia to hold the Australian International Chopin Piano Competition.
The Friends of Chopin Australia is a member of the International Federation of Chopin Societies and has strong links with Chopin organisations in Poland and around the world. The Friends of Chopin Australia is also listed on the Australian Register of Cultural Organisations.
